Choir Director - Caro Kaiser
Organist - Judy Barnes

Music is an important part of the ministry at Winthrop United Methodist Church. The Church Choir participates in the 10:30 A.M. worship service on Sunday morning under the direction of Caro Kaiser and accompanied by Judy Barnes. The church organist, Judy Barnes, plays for the 8:15 A.M. worship service, as well. At the 8:15 worship service, a variety of musicians share their gifts each week. Additional special music is enjoyed periodically.

The Church Choir has room for a few more members. Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings in the sanctuary at 6:30 P.M. The only requirement for choir membership is a desire to praise the Lord through song. Contact Caro Kaiser through the Church Office if you are interested in joining the choir.

Special musical events are scheduled periodically to provide opportunities for members of the Winthrop United Methodist Church and guests to praise the Lord through the gift of music. Popular "Make a Joyful Noise" events held at the church on Sunday evenings several times a year, for example. These feature special spiritual music by talented local singers and musicians and allow attendees to sing their favorite hymns.
