The tag line of the United Methodist Church's "Igniting Ministry" program is "Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors." We live that here at Winthrop United Methodist Church.<P>We are <A HREF="directions.htm">easy to find</A> in downtown Winthrop, ME. During the summer one <A HREF="worship.htm#services">worship service</A> is held on Sunday mornings.<IMG SRC="greeter.jpg" ALIGN="right" WIDTH="150" HEIGHT="218" BORDER="0" VSPACE="4" ALT="Greeters Welcome Churchgoer"> Handicapped access is provided to all church facilities. A <A HREF="children.htm#nursery" TARGET="content" >nursery</A> with a paid staff is available at no charge for children from infants through pre-school age, and supervised "<A HREF="children.htm#junior">Ark-tivities (junior church)</A>" is available for kingergartners through third graders following a <A HREF="children.htm#timeforchildren" TARGET="content" >"time for children"</A> during each of the Sunday morning worship services. Join us for coffee and fellowship after the services.<P> A very active <A HREF="education.htm">Christian Education</A> program is available for <A HREF="education.htm#adult">adults</A> as well as <A HREF="education#children">children</A>.
