Everyone just pitched in and did what needed to be done. Leo Lambert was no exception. Washing dishes or mopping the floor, he was ready to help.
On day 3 -Saturday, January 10, the sun came out. Every dangling limb and wire sparkled like diamonds. But it got colder and the misery increased.
Everyone pitched in, Ryan Phillips, Leo Lambert's grandson, puts a pizza in the oven.
All ages became "quantity cooks." Remember all of the peeling and chopping for the endless soup pots, salads, etc. - not to mention all of those sandwiches!
