SUNDAY SCHOOL
Adult Sunday School is studying The God We Can Know. Teachers for adult study rotate from week to week. This class starts at 8:45 am, with coffee and tea available. For more information contact Anne Carter at etw2419@aol.com.

Children will gather in the sanctuary at 8:45 am. We are going back to our old schedule of gathering all ages together and then breaking into their classes. The group gathering will be a time for songs and practicing for the Christmas Pageant. We are going to start early working on parts for the pageant this fall. Children who would like to have a speaking part should plan to come on Sunday mornings to learn their role.

WOMEN'S ADVENT RETREAT
We are so pleased to offer a Women’s Advent Retreat on Saturday, December 2 from 9:30-2:30, led by Rev. Heidi Chamberland. BEHOLD! What is the “good news of great joy” the angels are proclaiming to you? Let’s “cultivate attentiveness” together so we don’t miss one holy invitation to BEHOLD on our own journey to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.

When you hear the word BEHOLD – what does it mean to you? For me it is a word that brings me to prayer; to an awareness of God’s holy Presence. It is a word that calls me to pay attention, to stand in awe of, to be aware that I’m about to see, feel, touch, experience something of tremendous spiritual strength that can only draw me deeper in the mystery of Emmanuel… "God with us." I invite all women to consider giving yourself this one day apart as we begun the busy Advent Season, which if we allow it can become just one crazy day after another getting ready for Christmas.

To register, email or call Rev. Heidi Chamberland or call 860.888.2934

Cost? $20 due upon arrival at retreat
